Here at Burghfield and Goring vets we are situated in villages full of character in the wonderful Berkshire countryside which is easily accessible on the M4 corridor surrounded by beautiful locations such as Basildon Park. A two site practice we have all the usual diagnostic equipment including endoscopy, u/s, digital x-ray and well equipped orthopaedic theatre suite. We have a number of long standing staff members who know the practices inside out and we offer a friendly and supportive environment for our team who are extremely passionate about the work they do!

Your new role as our Head Veterinary Surgeon will be to support the management team in driving clinical excellence in the practice and guiding the clinical team. You will benefit from a supportive team and busy and varied caseload at both of our sites which will keep your clinical skills sharp and engaged. Above all we pride ourselves on providing excellent standards of care to our very loyal client base and their pets so if this is something you are passionate about we want to hear from you.

This role is a full time role working a 4 day week with a share in the 1 in 6 weekend rota. However we believe in work life balance so we are open to flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
