What will I be doing?

Located in Rolleston, our brand new centre has amazing large spaces both inside and out. Our modern, purpose-built facilities are bright, open and spacious, with an extensive range of carefully selected developmentally appropriate resources to encourage children's learning.

We are looking for an experienced teacher who is confident in assessment, planning, and knowledge in Internal Evaluations and who is ready to take the next step in their ECE career leading a team of 3 staff.

This position is maternity cover working 40 hours per week in the prep room.

Role requirements:

• B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of planning and assessment, pedagogy, and curriculum
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
• A team player - passionate and self-motivated about leading a successful team
