About this role

How would you feel about heading up our PMO delivery in Scotland? We run, build, and maintain the UK’s communications network. 

As Head of PMO yow will play a pivotal role in Openreach’s success in building the UK’s connected future. You will be strategically multi-disciplined with a strong eye for data, cost and commercials.

You will take a senior leadership responsibility to coach and manage your team and provide wider insight and reporting to the programmes, so all parties are fully aware of the journey and the part they play in the same.

You'll have the following responsibilities

• As Head of PMO you will be responsible for....
• Whilst spinning plates, from contractors to programmes, you will prioritise workstreams to deliver successful national and regional customer outcomes across several projects. Aligning supply & demand with the agreed quarterly plan and deploying resource effectively. 
• You will strive to build warm relationships with engineering & planning partners, driving collaboration to ensure the end goal is at the forefront of everyone’s mind.
• You will be confident at presenting plans and progressing updates to the Senior Leadership Team with a keen eye for interpreting high amounts of data.

• As Head of PMO you will have the following skills & experience.....
• No matter what industry or background you come from, experience of leading a PMO team is essential.
• You will have the ability to work across the team to change outcomes for the customers as well as the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to take very complex data and information and simplify to a level when decisions can be made.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage colleagues across a range of disciplines and adept at holding others to account through a challenging and supportive leadership style whilst consistently delivering on your own commitments.
