Job Description
Reporting to the Portfolio Director, the Head of Change is responsible for ensuring the strategic agenda of projects and programmes are translated into a well-defined and executable change portfolio, driving delivery performance, capability improvement and maximising return on change investment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage the organisation wide view of material change activity, that informs and helps manage adverse impact on the business (including Single View of Change).
- Manage the Change Framework that includes a structured methodology and tools for employee and business change.
- Drive change resource optimisation to ensure cost/benefit effectiveness of change, communication and training personnel working in partnership with the HR.
- Provide OCM thought leadership across the organisation through consultation and coaching
- Provide OCM tools and educational material through appropriate development programmes and communication channels
- Support the execution of change strategies via an internal change leadership community which includes business leaders, project facing change managers and employee-facing managers
- Identify resistance to change and performance gaps and work to develop and implement corrective actions
- Continuously introduce and reinforce OCM practices that drive ongoing and increased change maturity across the organisation
Experience:
- Demonstrated (minimum 10 years) experience in a change management role (Essential)
- Demonstrated (minimum 7 years) in a leadership capacity (Essential)
- Demonstrated experience in working with organisational change management methodologies (Essential)
- Experience implementing strategic change/organisational development initiatives (Essential)
- Experience implementing large programmes of work
- Exposure to project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle (Essential)
- Experience of working in banking, financial services, large Enterprise organisations and/or professional services (Desirable)
