Job Description
We are Auckland Top operators in hospitality and are looking for a Head Chef for our Hobsonville Cafe
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating and implementing menus.
- Arrange rosters and manage staff levels according to occupancy.
- Managing food cost and labour cost
- Work closely with the Cafe Manager
- Manage and train the kitchen team effectively to ensure a highly motivated team culture.
- Meeting with suppliers
- Staff Meeting and training
- To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
- Strong a la carte Skills
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a similar work environment
- Exposure to various cuisine styles in multiple outlets and open kitchens.
- A strong understanding of modern food trends.
- Ability to work under pressure with an even temperament.
