Hammerhand or Carpenter needed in Grafton

Seeking an individual who is interested in working with a commercial company in the concrete division

Your new company:

This company is based in Grafton, Auckland CBD and works on sites across Auckland. This company has multiple sites running at once and works across commercial, civil, residential and maintenance that specialized in structural remediation, waterproofing and tanking membrane systems, seismic strengthening and concrete defect repairs and maintenance for resolving structural issues/problems in buildings, bridges, and large structures. This company has been established since 1975 and in recent years they have doubled their business and currently employ approximately 100 team members with expertise based on civil engineering and building backgrounds.

This company are looking for a hammerhand or carpenter who has experience within commercial or civil construction to work in a concrete repair’s division within a commercial waterproofing company. You will be joining the concrete repairs team, where their focus is on:

• Fire damaged buildings
• Damaged floors & joint repairs
• Historic building repairs

This individual should have a positive attitude towards work and a strong work ethic. Ideally for someone who enjoys working in the outdoors in rain or sunshine and can physically keep up with the workload. Must be confident working at heights.

Skills / Requirements / Experience:

• Commercial and/or Civil Construction experience
• Bonus: if you hold a current site safe ticket

• 1 recent working reference from last employer or within last 6 months
• Relatively clean Ministry of Justice Check
• Reliable Transport to Grafton
• Rights to work in New Zealand.
