About the role:

Our company is requiring an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team in Penrose, Auckland. 

 Key responsibilities:

 The role itself is a busy one, and the successful candidate will need to be on their toes as you’ll be working alongside not just the team based in Penrose, but also liaising with our international team offshore. 

Some of the core duties of this role include the following:

• Planning, designing, developing and creating modern, innovative marketing collateral that captures the interest of consumers.
• Maintaining, developing, and implementing the MEO brand and visual identity including logos; designing artwork and/or layout for the website, and other publications such as the monthly newsletters.
• Preparing diagrams, illustrations, infographics and layouts to communicate key concepts for external and internal audiences.
• Providing design support to the sales team ensuring that customer expectations (internal and external) are exceeded.
• Able to manage our social media account and come up with creative social media posts, contribute to idea sessions
• Experience with animation in After Effects, and/or photography skills would be a bonus

 Key requirements:

The ideal person will have experience in a Graphic Design role, and will demonstrate the following:

• Proficient in Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator, and able to work quickly and confidently in the software
• Ideally a minimum of 3+ years practical experience in Graphic Design
• A relevant tertiary qualification in graphic design or related field
• Collaborative team player with well developed communication skills
• Effective planning, project management and organisational abilities
• Driven, motivated and results oriented
• Flexible, mature and adaptable
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and occasionally work under pressure
