Joining a dynamic team of scientists, you will be responsible for analysing/examining human samples for elicit substances/drugs through various analytical techniques (GC/ GC-MS, IR, TLC, Spot tests) ensuring adherence to H&S protocols. You will additionally be involved in lab support duties such as managing/preparing reagents for casework activities.

Experience and Skills:

• BSc Forensic/Biochemistry/Chemistry (or other relevant scientific subject)
• Previous employment is essential (preferably in a laboratory-based setting)
• A problem-solver who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• An understanding of drug analysis and/or forensic techniques (e.g., GC, IR, microscopy) is highly advantageous however full training will be provided!
