An opportunity exists for a grad with an interest in Operations & Transport to join our business based in Mt Wellington. Our business involves the importation and distribution of a wide range of products to both industrial commercial and food service customers. We are seeking a positive, energetic, result focused professional, who enjoys dealing with a diverse range of tasks on a daily basis. 

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Assisting with the day to day operations of the warehouse, on the job training provided
• Assisting with dispatch and liaising with drivers on deliveries
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, picking of goods where required
• Provide effective leadership to ensure continuously improving levels of accountability
• Ensure high standards of safety, customer service and quality control
• Ensure exceptional Customer Service standards are met and consistently kept
• To plan and implement strategies for effective utilisation of resources within the warehouse environment
• Ensure that targets are achieved ie; weekly targets, monthly targets, quarterly target

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes,

• Tertiary qualifications in business, logistics or a related area are preferable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication (written & verbal)
• Strong administrative initiative
• The ability to handle pressure
• A good attitude and is a strong team player
• Excellent computer skills
