Our Class Actions practice area is the largest in Australia and we are leaders in the field. That makes us proud. We have recovered more than $3 billion for groups, individuals, shareholders and businesses that have suffered loss due to illegal behaviour by large corporations. That gives us purpose and every day we feel the impact that our roles have.

We have opportunities for academically accomplished junior lawyers (graduate -2 years PQE) to join our high performing Class Actions team on a permanent full-time basis. We are excited to be recruiting in our Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney teams.

If you're passionate about litigation and the law, driven to make a difference through Class Actions, have strong legal, technical skills and keen analytical skills, we would love to hear from you.

What's Involved:

Assisting with all aspects of Class Action litigation, including:

• Preparing evidence;
• Responding to client enquiries;
• Briefing and instructing counsel;
• Assisting with preparation for interlocutory hearings, mediation and trial;
• Analysing the viability of potential actions.

What will you bring?

Our successful candidates will be committed and enthusiastic individuals and possess the following:

• Graduate to 2 years post admission experience;
• A strong academic record;
• A desire to make a difference to our clients and to society through Class Action litigation;
• Ability to read and interpret large volumes of data with an eye for detail;
• Capability to conduct complex legal research;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
• You thrive in an environment where you work both autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team;
• Commitment to understanding our diverse client group and communicating with them and responding to their concerns with appropriate empathy;
• Accounting, economics or science qualifications will be advantageous but not essential.
