Are you ready to step into an interesting safety based role of a HSE Coordinator?

We are looking for a enthusiastic and passionate safety minded person to drive continuous improvement of the Health, Safety and Environmental culture within the business.

Your role will involve implementing HSE initiatives by providing technical assistance in the identification, evaluation, and control workplace hazards.

Role responsibilities will include â€“

  • Provide HSE advice and technical support to the leadership team and employees
  • Support the business to manage and maintain the HSE risk profile, risk assessment and risk management processes
  • Coach and mentor the workforce to foster a positive safety culture
  • Lead and support organisational change to achieve a positive safety culture and achievement of HSE objectives and targets
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits, incident investigations
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with applicable laws and regulations and Toll’s codes of conduct
  • Engage with the leadership team to ensure HSE responsibilities and expectations are understood and enacted by all
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of external HSE certifications
  • Conduct and lead incident investigations (ICAM Methodology preferred)
  • Promoting and ensuring compliance to the HSE Management System

Qualifications

Ideally the right person for this role will have: 

  • Prior experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent working knowledge of HSE
  • High level of organisational and communications skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to reach deadlines and perform well under pressure or in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Proactive approach and ability to get involved whilst driving change within the business
