About the Team
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan (ROM) division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure. This role will sit within the Chief Customer Office team to support the Transport Partnerships branch in its government communications.
The Opportunity
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Government Services Officer role that will partner with and support the Transport Partnerships branch which manage commercial contracts to deliver integrated transport services across regional NSW.
You will be responsible for collaborating with the branch to facilitate responses for government communications and information requests. The Government Services Officer contributes towards the following day to day responsibilities:
About You
You are a self-motivated and highly organised individual, looking for an opportunity to demonstrate your stakeholder engagement experience to, source, analyse and prepare high quality ministerial communication documents. You are a natural and effective communicator with high attention to detail and thrive in a high pressure and fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You will need to be able to build rapport and develop strong stakeholder relations across multiple internal and external sources to the branch. You will need to leverage these relationships to seek the appropriate advice and information required to inform your decisions.
Ideally this role will suit an applicant who comes from a communications, journalist, senior administrative or government services background. Support and guidance on preparing responses will be available from the Division Management Office.
