Global Sales Planning, Manager - 111763

  

THE ROLE: 

AMD is looking for a Sales Planning manager to join our Business Management organization. This role acts as the program manager of our annual AMD sales planning cycle, defining the global standard for our methodologies, and coordinating efforts across all sales teams to produce long-range sales plans. This manager will work closely with cross-functional Sales, Finance, and Business Unit teams to develop long range planning forecasts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for driving Global Sales Planning and Business Operations initiatives around the AMD business
  • Work with key partners and cross functional teams to own the cadence and alignment of Sales Planning across regions & business segments
  • Analyze and derive insights from the planning process on business trends & market drivers
  • Act as the subject matter authority for developing Sales critical metrics to assess performance and planning requirements
  • Engage with Sales and BU partners on a regular cadence to ensure that planning process reflects long-term business priorities

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Professional in sales and strategic planning, or a finance planning environment
  • Strong analytical skills using tools like sophisticated Excel, PowerBI, SQL
  • Strong communication skills - ability to deliver insights and recommendations to the Sales organization
  • Experience with Salesforce a strong plus
  • Creative problem solver with proven project management skills who can work in a fast-paced environment
