Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Reward professional to provide expertise and support for our global reward programs. This position will help to manage the annual compensation process from end to end, including budget planning, salary and bonus benchmarking / analysis, and implementation of salary planning decisions. This role will also partner cross-functionally on a variety of projects including employee benefits, performance management, job architecture and benchmarking, D&I initiatives, our Wellbeing focus and supporting HR Business Partners of our global corporate populations. The role reports to the Head of Global Compensation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with various stakeholders (including Regional Reward teams, wider HR, Finance and Legal) at all levels on projects/initiatives with a compensation impact
- Lead global job gradings with HR and business partners (using WTW global grading system). Oversee role calibrations, and overall job architecture to ensure good governance and consistency
- Manage the Long-Term Incentive Plan administration for senior employees. Includes all operational aspects, preparation of communications and data analytics.
- Manage survey vendor relationships and company’s participation in salary and variable compensation surveys
- Preparation of Group Compensation Committee and Remuneration Committee papers, Group policies, guidelines, and procedures for the Reward Team
- Partner with the People Development team on providing communications around reward and performance management process
- Lead the Global Reward function’s focus on employee Wellbeing and Benefits, including staying abreast of market practice and tracking regional activities across the company
- Partner with the People Solutions team to deliver our compensation programs; specifically, the Annual Compensation Review using Workday
- Prepare compensation data research and cost impact/statistical analyses as needed; provide analytical and professional advice in areas of compensation amounts and structure
- Partner with Finance teams by providing compensation data used in quarterly forecasting and annual reporting requirements
- Monitor regulatory compliance and advise on any compensation related changes
- Support the Head of Global Compensation to ensure that the strategic goals determined by Senior Management are met, including preparation of materials for Compensation Committees, executive compensation analysis, financial analysis and reporting
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Significant compensation experience gained from working in a global organisation. Experience in consulting and/or retail industry is a plus, but not essential
- Working knowledge of the WTW Global Grading Tool and Workday HR platform is desirable
- Excellent compensation program management skills and knowledge of annual review processes, compensation reporting tools, job levelling, and market benchmarking
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail combined with analytical/critical thinking
