Today Vodafone serves 3m SOHO/SME customers across Europe with a wide range of communications solutions. Vodafone aims to be the leading end-to-end digital champion for this segment and expands its product portfolio to a suite of technology offerings. That includes providing SME clients with a broad portfolio of Software as a Service (SaaS) tools and associated services to help them grow, run and secure their business.

 

The Digital Applications portfolio team within Vodafone Cloud & Security plays a key role in accelerating growth of the new SaaS business. Vodafone is partnering with leading SaaS and Tech companies to become a ‘one stop shop’ for SME digital tools, delivered through a global digital Marketplace. After successfully delivering high-growth with Productivity & Collaboration applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, Digital Applications is now expanding into new product areas to support the digitalisation of SMEs.

 

The Global Product Strategy Manager will play a key role in developing the business strategy for Digital Apps, working closely with the head of the portfolio and the rest of the team. The scope will include the evaluation of new growth and margin improvement opportunities, strategic partnerships and expansion of our existing SaaS portfolio.

It is a global role, which could be based in the UK or other Vodafone locations in Europe.

With us you will:

  • Assist in developing Digital Apps business strategy, product roadmap and priorities 
  • Evaluate new growth opportunities and develop business cases
  • Lead strategic initiatives across Digital Apps
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive moves and proactively identify potential market disruptions
  • Analyse performance of product portfolio
  • Analyse pricing / market sizing for specific product launches


Apply if you have: 

  • 3-5+ years’ experience at a leading management consultancy, in-house strategy team, or product strategy in a tech company
  • Demonstrated understanding of SaaS & Cloud, preferably in a SME context
  • Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing and collaborating in cross-functional environments
  • Experience in managing and using data, analytics and reporting to enable product insights and support business decisions
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
  • Inquisitive and can-do mind-set
  • Strategic thinking coupled with ability to drive change end to end from concept to execution
  • Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to effectively deliver information to internal and external constituents at all levels
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree is desirable
