A bit about the job:
Utilising your extensive, and up-to-date technical knowledge of global mobility processes (including UK immigration, international tax and social security), our new Global Mobility Manager will ensure that our cross border mobile employees have a seamless and successful journey into their new roles (at senior management level and above). This will include regular liaison with senior leaders, imparting guidance and advice, as well dealing with external suppliers to ensure efficiency and value for money. We also want someone with a great eye for detail, who can monitor and review our current policies and practices to deliver operational excellence (especially in line with any regulatory changes, such as the recent increase in remote working requests etc). We’ve also just implemented the system AssignmentPro too, so prior knowledge of using this in your last role would be a big advantage!
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Ability to work collaboratively across a complex, corporate business, showcasing extensive global mobility experience for senior hires / moves
Your technical knowledge of global mobility legislation (in particular UK immigration legislation and processes) needs to be second to none with no room for errors due to keeping up to date on any regulatory changes in this discipline
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and across different cultures, with good stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to lead projects, such as developing meaningful operational transformation, policy review, and technology enhancements
External vendor management experience including managing tenders
What you’ll get for this role:
Annual salary between £50,000 and £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)
Eligibility for annual performance bonus
Family friendly parental and carer’s leave
29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days
Up to 40% discount for Aviva products
Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars
Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme
21 volunteering hours per year
