This role gives you the opportunity to work in the Global marketing team, being responsible for all our indirect channel marketing activities, reporting into the Head of Customer Marketing.

Through our Indirect System Integration (SI) and Telecommunications - we sell our industry leading portfolio to their end customers.

By combining our global strengths in networks, IT and innovation with our deep expertise and global delivery model, we are a trusted partner for our channel partners.

This role is focused developing and executing the Indirect Channel marketing strategy;

• To launch new products and services

• To expand our services within our current customer base

• To on-board new channel partners across the globe

• To support our channel partners to sell into their end customer

You\'ll have the following responsibilities

  • Identify business targets and priorities, growth areas and key channels, together with the product and sales teams, in line with the Global marketing plan. 
  • Create and deliver Indirect marketing plan that will support broadening and deepening our channel relationships, build awareness, launch new products and generate new pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing delivery and product teams, to deliver marketing campaigns, drive product launches and deliver channel specific marketing initiatives.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the System Integration and Telecommunications sector, understanding their key challenges and opportunities, market trends, the regulatory landscape and the key influencers in the sector.
  • Understanding our channel partners’ service/business lines and the role of BT’s portfolio in their offering.
  • Be the front door for all things marketing within the indirect business, representing marketing with sales team meetings, and providing regular and valuable updates.
  • Work closely with the System Integration and Telecommunications sector leadership team to understand business requirements, immediate asks and to update them on marketing activities and 
  • Provide a metrics dashboard demonstrating progress against agreed KPIs and objectives
  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills with the sales teams and senior management.

 

You\'ll have the following skills & experience

  • Five years of experience working as a Sector Marketing lead or Marketing Manager with a strong understanding of how to deliver account and sector/industry specific marketing plans.
  • B2B marketing experience, preferably within the technology area and for channels
  • Proven experience building and executing campaigns and small events
  • Commercially minded, obsessed with data and ensuring a strong delivery of ROI
  • An interest in channel marketing, competitor analysis and digital marketing
  • PowerPoint skills and ability to produce Exec level slide decks is helpful
  • Can-do attitude and an appetite to continually improve
  • Strong communications and stakeholder management skills.
