At Nuera Industrial, as a General Labourer, your main duties will be to customize heavy duty and light weight belts and rubber components to customer specifications either in-house or at a customer site and perform general house-keeping duties as required. You will receive ongoing training and Nuera will provide you with support to reach both company and personal goals.

Job responsibilities:

· Safety focused mindset at all times

· Build / repair belts and rubber components

· Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; maintain stock area

· Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies

· Perform duties to fabricate, install and repair conveyor belting, systems, and other rubber products

· Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment. Maintain clean working area

· Detect and report defective equipment, material and any improper operations or unusual conditions

· Process work orders and fabricate belts to customers specifications in a timely manner

· Assure orders are of the highest quality and completed in a timely manner.

· Work with others in a positive and team-oriented manner.

Requirements:

· Highly organized with an ability to prioritize tasks focusing on attention to detail

· Technical / mechanical aptitude is an asset

· Maintenance or previous belt tech experience preferred

· Basic math skills and computer skills

· Strong communication skills written and verbal

· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, as well as ability to work at heights and tight spaces

· Overtime hours and weekend work may be required, a flexible work schedule is an asset

· High school diploma or equivalent education

. Must have a valid drivers licence
