General Helper This position is responsible for supporting the assigned press team in setting up, running and packaging required product at the standard rate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the continuous movement of product through hand-stacking, discharging and packaging of finished parts.
• Works in cooperation with the Operator and Shift Supervisor and references set-up procedures to ensure material is safely loaded onto production equipment
• Operates bundle turner / pacman when parts require to be flipped.
• Prepares packaging in advance.
• Carries out setup duties as instructed by Operator
• Performs all other related duties as assigned by Supervisor

GENERAL:

• Complies with designated ISO/TS16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
• Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors.
• Wears personal protective equipment (PPE)at all times
• Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards
• Strives for continuous improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year or less of job-related experience
• Proven ability to work in a team and as an individual
