Our General Assistants are vital to our catering operation and ensure our busy food outlets run smoothly, always ensuring to provide excellent customer service. With a dedicated and helpful approach, you’ll be serving, clearing, and cleaning keeping the tables in the mess area spotless and brightening the room with your smile!  

This is a great opportunity to join us at worthy down barracks in Winchester, to support our Armed Forces and improve the quality of their daily life, as the site is not only their workplace but also a home to many of them.

A few things about you

We want you to bring your can-do attitude, your flexible approach to working and your great reliability with you when you join us. Being a team player is important, don’t forget to bring you excellent attention to detail and good communication skills too! 

Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, but if you have great people skills, we’d love to hear from you! 

General knowledge of health and safety procedures is also required, with understanding of basic food hygiene and cleaning.     

Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises so it is vital that you will champion this. 

DBS Check is required to work at this site.
