William Booth Centre provides supported accommodation for people aged 25 and over who would benefit from housing, health and wellbeing related advice and guidance.  We provide a 24 hour a day 7 day a week service and the successful candidate will work alongside other staff to ensure that out catering service is run to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

The post of General Assistant Catering provides support to the preparation and serving of food and the maintenance of a clean catering environment.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: 

• Catering and food service environment experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to plan a routine and manage own workload
• Ability to safely operate equipment relevant to the role
• Co-operative, reliable and conscientious
• Ability to keep written records
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Show integrity and accountability and able to work within the Christian ethos of The Salvation Army
• Prepared to work alone
• Flexible approach to hours worked as required
