An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part time Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group, working at an abattoir site in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 area.

Please note that this position is at a working abattoir. Patrolling of the site is required.

Hours: On Average 24 Hours per weekend. Saturday & Sunday plus overtime. Days - 07.00 - 19.00.

Pay rate: Â£9.86 per hour increasing to £10.50 per hour after 3 months + £250 welcome bonus after 3 months of service 

Position - Skill Base Requirements:

A valid SIA licence; or applied for / Own transport
A full five year checkable employment history;
Excellent customer service skills;
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Surveillance skills
Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
IT skills

Duties include:

Booking out all vehicles to site.
Trailer temperature checks and sealing.
Site BIO Security.
Control of site keys.
Access control to site.
Out of hours reception duties.
Site weigh bridge duties.
Animal welfare.
Pallet checks.
Basket checks.
Site staff and vehicle searches including production areas.
Completion of waste documentation.
Site chiller temperature checks.
