Antarctic Heritage Trust is seeking an experienced Fundraising Co-ordinator. This role is for parental leave cover. 

The Fundraising Co-ordinator is a full time, fixed term role for six months (May to November 2022) based in the Trust’s Christchurch offices. Part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. 

Work with a fantastic, small but high performing team, helping deliver the Trust’s mission to conserve, share and encourage the spirit of exploration. 

The Fundraising Co-ordinator will: 

• Support the Trust’s management team generating revenue for the Trust.
• Support the fundraising strategy raising funds for the Trust, including annual appeals, memberships, and mid-level to major giving.
• Foster a culture of philanthropy, including championing the use of the donor database.

Proven experience in non-profit fundraising or business development role is essential. 

The successful candidate will:

• Have a high level of personal and professional standards, self-motivated and strong work ethic.
• Have an ability and desire to work both independently and as part of a small high-achieving team.
• Be a confident and effective communicator (both verbal and written).
• Be confident working with data and databases.
• Have great interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of people and across multiple stakeholder environments.
