We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team here at Inglis Vets, Alloa!
This role involves working as the sole Registered Veterinary Nurse in the Alloa branch supporting one Vet in practice as well as working alongside an Animal Care Assistant and a Client Care Advisor as part of the wider Inglis Team. This position is to cover Maternity Leave however opportunities may become available!
With a busy ops diary and the opportunity to further develop nurse clinics, working in the Alloa branch offers a degree of autonomy with the support of the wider Inglis Team.
This role will consist of working 40 hours per week over 4 days (full time) – flexible work options available. This role has no Out of Hours. The salary range is from £20,000-£26,000.
About Us
Our Alloa branch is well established and located at the foot of the
Ochil Hills. You can find Inglis Vets surgeries in Cowdenbeath, Alloa, Inverkeithing, Kirkcaldy, Corstorphine, Kinross and Polbeth, as well as our 24-hour Hospital in Dunfermline which supports out of hours and emergency care for all 9 sites.
Our full team consists of 30 Vets, 26 nurses and 14 ACAs and 30 Client care and support staff. Visiting specialists complete our team based at our state-of-the-art hospital and cover areas including cardiology, orthopaedics, dermatology and feline medicine.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who must be confident with sole charge working alongside another Vet. They must also be RCVS registered. The ability to work supportively as part of a small team is important. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with high standards and welcome applicants looking for flexible working options.
