About you
The successful candidate must have a relevant trade qualification, ideally with previous experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic in plant and truck repairs.
You have demonstrated ability as an effective manager of multidisciplinary teams, with skills in leadership liaison, negotiation, consultation, and team building.
You have extensive experience in scheduling repair, maintenance and servicing of earthmoving plant, trucks, and small equipment.
You can interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, workshop manuals, hydraulic and electrical system diagrams and have comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience implementing WHS, Environmental and Quality management systems and procedures, including the development and review of Safe Working Method Statements.
You must have strong relationship management skills engaging with various internal and external customers as well as managing a diverse team of trades people.
