Remedy Administration Manager

The role

As our Remedy Administration Manager here at TalkTalk, you’ll play a role in the ongoing development and support of our systems strategy, where you’ll be jointly responsible for delivering and maintaining components of TalkTalk Business' (TTB) future system architecture.

As part of the Technical Service Management team, the Remedy Admin Manager will be a direct interface to TTB's high-value partners, ensuring key requirements are captured.

Your responsibilities

  • You’ll support Remedy and ITSM tools in relation to Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, Service Level Management, CMDB/Asset Management and Reporting business solutions

  • Whilst supporting Remedy integrations with LDAP, SSO, ADDM, TSO and other external interfaces, you’ll be responsible for the configuration and development of BMC Remedy ITSM suite, Service Request, ADDM and Analytics.

  • You’ll provide support once the go-live activities commence and production support is required and serve as a subject matter expert for BMC Remedy and other ITSM tools providing guidance, whilst documenting and developing training material and project plans where required.

  • Gathering and prioritising client requirements to develop and configure the platform to meet these requirements, you’ll provide dashboards and reports to upper management for operations and performance tracking, troubleshoot and resolve system and transaction issues and provide access rights/Security Administration.

To be successful in this role

  • Experience as a Remedy Administrator or similar with BMC Remedy configuration and development, with a thorough understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with the installation and configuration of software applications, infrastructure/server administration, migrating code and data into Remedy environments and integrating other systems with BMC Remedy.

  • Troubleshooting experience in working with product vendors and customers.

  • Excellent interpersonal and prioritisation skills.
