Job Description

• Long distances are traveled to deliver goods to customers.
• Cargo loading and unloading
• Keep track of cargo deliveries.
• Refuel and clean your car.
• Report any traffic accidents to the dispatcher.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Inspect trucks and document any problems.
• Adhere to the accident procedures.
• Keep an activity and hour log.
• Inform maintenance personnel of mechanical issues.
• Routes can be planned using GPS.
• Deliver the goods to the customer on time.
• Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with customers.
• ​ Maintain your commercial driver’s license.

Job Requirements 

• Class A CDL, also known as a commercial driver’s license.
• TWIC card in good standing.
• A drug and alcohol test is required.
• A clean driving record is required.
• A current MVR is required.
• A medical certificate is required.
• ​ Diploma from a high school. 

Terms of Employment:

• 40 to 45 hours per week
  
• Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
