The opportunity 

Sydney Metro have a newly established and exciting ‘Sydney Metro Stations Delivery Team’ on our Metro West Project. 

This team has a 7-year pipeline of work across the delivery of nine vibrant Stations and Precincts valued at (circa) $4Bn from Sydney CBD to Greater Parramatta.  

You will perform an integral role in the delivery of these 9 great Stations including Integrated, Over Station and Adjacent Station developments, Stations brownfield works and greenfield sites, Stations Precincts and

Places and facilitating key connections to Metro West with current and future transport modes. 

• Manage key Station interfaces and integration with our Tunnelling, Line wide and Trains System packages and teams to ensure seamless delivery and transition into operation of the Metro West Project.
• Manage the design, procurement, construction and delivery of a significant Stations package within Sydney Metro West.
• Work collaboratively to manage your Station delivery team throughout the project lifecycle managing design, constructability, engineering, assurance, cost, schedule, risk, procurement and construction supported by Stations implementation groups comprised of our great PMO, Design, Engineering, Health & Safety, Property, Planning, Operations Customer and Place teams.
• Ensure key interfaces and integration of technical, scope, schedule and risk are coordinated and managed to facilitate the seamless integration of our Stations into the wider Metro West project.
• Provide senior management, professional and technical leadership in the management and delivery of client design, procurement and construction across Metro West Stations including utilities and third party interfaces.
• Monitor delivery activities to ensure that works are delivered to the required standards and in accordance with safe work methods and environmental practices.
• The role will manage and work with contractors and service providers to deliver the works in a collaborative and cooperative manner, to support subsequent construction activities and to ensure the timely and effective delivery of the project. 

About you 

Demonstrated experience in the design, procurement and delivery of major Station and precincts over ($500million+).

Experience with major brownfield rail projects and interfaces would be beneficial. 

Previous capability and experience with over station, integrated and adjacent Station developments would be desirable. 

Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, construction, infrastructure and engineering or transport infrastructure or similar related fields. 

Salary and Benefits  

This is a Transport Senior Service, fixed term opportunity until 31/12/2024, with the potential to extend. The remuneration for this role is TSSE 1A, offering an attractive remuneration package ($200k to $257k inclusive super).
