The Opportunity
Right now, we have a great opportunity for two Senior Contracts Officers to join the team on a temporary full-time basis until June 2026. Based out of the Elizabeth Street office two days a week, these roles will provide assistance and support in the procurement, contract development management for transport services to contribute to the overall customer experience. These positions will play a key role in the development, negotiation and ongoing contract management and governance of the services, for the provision of transport services that form part of an integrated, safe, reliable, customer-focused, and efficient service that meets the needs of stakeholders.

About you
We are looking for an experienced contract officer with a proven track record commanding positive outcomes in a complex stakeholder and business landscape.
With highly developed written and verbal communication as well as problem-solving skills, you will be collaborative in your approach and build rapport easily. It is essential that you have an understanding of how to resolve issues that arise in managing contractor performance in order to deliver solutions that will allow effective business management while complying with contract management standards.
The ideal candidates for this role will be adept at driving strong governance that supports strategic alignment, risk management, resources management, and performance management while ensuring transparency, timeliness of decisions, value delivery, and benefits realization in a diversified organisation that continues to undergo structural, cultural and technological change. Additionally, you will be comfortable maintaining and sharing knowledge of current and emerging best practices in contract management and performance management given the rapid changes in customer needs and expectations.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 7 ($108,770 –$121,822) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
