The People Programs Team sits in People Operations and is focused on improving the Employee Experience and working with key stakeholders to lead the development of clearly defined processes and easy to access content, and identify and drive opportunities to enhance HR digital workflows through online and digital platforms.
The opportunity
We’re growing our People Programs team and we have an exciting opportunity for a People Programs Lead to join the Programs Team on temporary basis (until mid 2023 with a possibility to extend). This role will help make a significant difference to the people of Transport by simplifying, streamlining and transforming our people experience.
The People Programs Lead supports the Senior Manager People Programs to develop and implement various HR projects and programs and people initiatives across Transport. This will include managing a number of concurrent change projects and business process improvements end to end.
The role is focused on improving the Employee Experience and will work with key stakeholders to lead the development of clearly defined processes and easy to access content, and will identify and drive opportunities to enhance HR digital workflows through online and digital platforms.
About you
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience delivering HR / People process improvement projects though the application of strong project and change management methodology. You will provide the analysis and thinking behind new or transformed services, are outcomes driven, and have a passion for people-centric innovation and improvement.
You have the passion and motivation to bring initiatives to life through teamwork and collaboration. You also demonstrate innovative, analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving ability.
You enjoy challenging convention and implementing new ways of working to build and improve on existing practice and you are driven by implementing positive change in an organisation.

The salary for this 6 month fixed term position is Transport Service Grade 9A ($142,178) – 9E ($159,238) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading (pro rata).
