Job Description

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to support our fuels division based in Spotswood. You will be responsible for a team of capable and passionate professionals where together; you will coordinate operations within VIC

As the Operations Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage your team, driving a high-performance, safety focused culture.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency whilst reducing costs of the current operations.
• Provide a high-level of customer service – ensuring Toll meets agreed KPI's and other contractual obligations.
• Lead and enhance the safety culture across your operations, ensuring we meet all road safety legislation requirements.
• Manage a P&L to track and monitor all transport related costs.
• Respond quickly to any service or people related issues.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Transport industry experience within an Operations Management role 
• A comprehensive knowledge of legislation, regulations, and fatigue management regulations
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
• Sound decision making ability along with excellent planning and analytical skills.
• Experience in controlling and reporting on contract performance/cost management.
• Competent using Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
