Job Description

Toll Group Retail division is searching for a resilient Operations Manager to supervise the daily operations of the warehouse and associated distribution activities of the Kmart Truganina DC. This role will be responsible for the safety, accuracy and financial targets of the operation, and ensure that customer requirements are met. 

Join a large operation of over 500 + people, and make your mark on a challenging site with strong IR dispute skills, and people leadership ability. As the Manager - Operations Kmart, you will:

• Analyse customer situations to anticipate their business needs and identify opportunities to enhance the breadth and quality of service experience. 
• Manage day to day operations and associated duties to ensure adequate resources to meet agreed objectives. 
• Ensuring departments are meeting the safety and compliance KPI's and inspection requirements. 
• Maintain a positive, proactive team-based culture with a focus on providing effective coaching and feedback. 

Qualifications

 To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Demonstrated experience as a people leader within the transport, warehousing or logistics/distribution industry. 
• Experience managing union presences, including IR disputes.
• Strong safety focus, and commitment to Toll Group's Safety Obsessed culture. 
• Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships at all levels, internal and external to Toll.
