You will work in a general hospital with just over 100 beds, 24/7 emergency department and full radiology and laboratory support in the famous outback city.

You will be responsible for the management of patients admitted to the general paediatric wards, and those referred by general practitioners to the out patients clinics.

You will attend daily ward rounds and clinics as required.

You will accept referrals from the emergency department and review patients.

You will supervise house officers and registrars working on your team.

Requirements for eligibility:

• medical degree
• FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification in paediatrics
• AHPRA general registration
• Right to work in Australia - citizenship, residency or visa status
• Covid-19 vaccination evidence
• Criminal Record Screening Certificate – Obtained within the last 12 months
• WA Working with Children - this can be obtained by application at a local post office in WA on arrival
• two professional referees
• Certificate of completion for Mandatory Reporting of Child Sexual Abuse Training (a short on line course).
