How you will make an impact:

Learning Architect ensures a clear vision with a clearly defined roadmap, bringing together tools, platforms, and content into a form that is easy to use, scalable, and delivers a great user experience within our learning infrastructure. This successful candidate will develop learning using the application of learning technologies and will create learning that will support our learning goals. 

As a Learning Architect, you will:

  • Design workshops for leadership and front-line workers, focused on exceptional service, retail and customer experiences
  • Design and develop content within our learning system (LMS) ensuring its alignment to the overall strategy
  • Manage the digital learning plan to maximize learning outputs in our learning platforms (LMS)
  • Implement the use of modern learning techniques; chunking and sequencing of content in a manner best suited to meet learner outcomes within their learning design
  • Manage the learning system performance; content, layout and structure, to ensure system reliability and performance that maintains and builds learner confidence.
  • Review and develop scripts/story boards that meet layout and visual representation standards established
  • Propose and implement modern Instructional Design strategies and concepts to enhance learning design and learner engagement
  • Apply modern learning theories within the creation of eLearning, micro learning, VLT & ILT course development 
  • Analyze learning needs, tasks, and styles, to develop end-to-end and recommend end-to-end learning 
  • Using data, provide direction and guidance in learning-concept design to support organizational goals

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction or related field. 
  • 1-2 years’ experience using Learning Management Systems
  • Professional experience developing learning content across multiple platforms (including mobile); experience with gamification and micro-learning as asset
  • Hospitality experience in restaurant, hotel is desirable
  • Experience successfully deploying and sustaining learning projects and programs into production.
  • Proficiency in authoring e-Learning software such as Articulate, Moodle, IsEasy, Camtasia or similar technologies.
  • High level proficiency in using MS Office suite & web-based conference services such as WebEx, Teams, and similar technologies.
  • Strong group facilitation & presentation skills at all levels
  • Available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends with a potential of 15-20% travel
