About this role
We have around 1.2 million customers and serve over half the FTSE 350. Our customers range from big household names, government departments, and public service organisations right through to small businesses and new start-ups. We cover both the communications and IT services markets. Overall, we’re focused on four main product markets: Fixed Voice; Mobility; Fibre and Connectivity; Network IT services provided over the biggest UK network in both fixed and mobile communications.
As a sales apprentice you’ll have the chance to rotate across our sales teams, so you’ll gain a variety of experience. One day you might be responsible for a small number of medium-sized accounts, or you might be the single point of contact for one large client, to provide in-life customer support and straightforward cross-sell and upsell opportunities. We’ll help you learn how to understand the customer's needs and challenges and be able to look for ways to create a brilliant customer experience.
By the end of your apprenticeship, you will be able to showcase your commercial awareness, identify a new range of opportunities for your customers, and develop great working relationships with stakeholders, sharing knowledge and collaborating. The best part is that we’ll help you develop so that you can work professionally and independently, taking responsibility and initiative as appropriate.

About the apprenticeship
This apprenticeship will 36 months and 20% of your working hours will be dedicated to learning and studying. At the end of your hard work, you will gain a degree level qualification: BSc (Hons) in Business2Business Sales from one of our university partners. As an apprentice, you will study for a nationally recognised qualification as you gain hands on experience in our industry. After successful completion of this apprenticeship, you could kick start a successful career as a sales professional and receive your membership with the Institute of Professional Sales (IPS).  
Entry Requirements
You’ll need to achieve three A-Levels with a minimum of BCC grades. You’ll also need five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English Language & Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted.
