Job Description:
- Collect invoices, statements, reports, personal data, documents and information from employees, other departments and customers.
- Browse information to identify relevant information.
- Error correction and information organization to optimize fast and accurate capture.
- Create the correct spreadsheet.
- Enter and update information in related databases.
- Verify data backup.
- Inform relevant parties of errors encountered.
- Store hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
- Perform additional duties from time to time.
- Transfer data from paper format to a computer file or database system using a keyboard, data logger, or optical scanner
- Enter customer-supplied data directly
- Create spreadsheets with multiple letters number without errors
- Verify data against source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from databases or electronic files when required
- Perform regular backups to ensure preservation
- Arrange and organize documents after data entry to ensure they are not lost
- Receive and process invoices for payment and update invoice details accordingly
- Enter data correctly in the respective fields of different software
- Identify and correct data entry errors by checking accuracy control
- Perform related tasks such as ordering office supplies and making records
- Manage and organize records and files
- Prepare related reports as required
- Provide import assistance common data for multiple groups on an ad hoc basis.
Job Requirements:
- Proven Experience as a Data Entry Officer
- Fast Typing Skills; Knowledge of preferred typing system
- Good knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and equipment peripherals
- Basic understanding of databases
- Good English speaking and writing and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High school diploma.
- More than 1 year experience in related field.
- Fluent English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to concentrate for long periods of time and execute accurately at an appropriate rate.
- Excellent typing skills.
