Job Description
Reporting to the onsite Compass lead, the Corporate Porter is responsible for ensuring that the premises are properly maintained, workspaces and meeting rooms are correctly set-up and facility issues are responded to in a timely manner. This role is within a professional atmosphere at a leading technology and consulting firm in downtown Montreal.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Corporate Porter, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Provide engaging and anticipative service to all office employees and visitors
- Work closely with facilities, local technology, and other workplace departments to ensure a flawless guest experience
- Conduct routine floor checks for cleanliness, orderliness & deficiencies
- Set up and check on meeting rooms
- Weekly and Daily communication with Experience Team
- Check and maintain copy rooms, ensure printers are working and restocked with paper and toners when needed
- Carry out instructions for security, fire, health, and safety guidelines as required
- Restock supplies and consumables
- Replenish and maintain part stock of dishware (plates, cups, cutlery etc)
- Interact with 3rd party vendors
- Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs
- Light housekeeping duties as required

- Working experience in a luxury hospitality environment is considered a strong asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to work independently and have great attention to detail
- Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet frequent deadlines
- Strong business acumen and professionalism
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- The associate will be on their feet, walking around the floors making sure that all our standards are in place.
