The focus areas will be serving Industrial, Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace clients. We help companies in these sectors think beyond the limits of their traditional business models, choose where to compete and how to win, reorganize to defend themselves against new threats and explore new value opportunities. The aim is to help clients drive rapid and dramatic performance improvement and support companies to grow and improve.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Director, you\'ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Directors deliver next-level impact for our most complex and cutting-edge client challenges. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to bring the ‘best of PwC’ to our clients, experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise often gained outside of Strategy& in industry or specialized consulting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Help grow a business, work with the current Industrial, Manufacturing and Automotive leadership team to expand footprint, create client opportunities, develop and grow team

  • Work jointly with PwC / Strategy& and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on site

  • Actively support business development efforts: client meetings, commercial discussions, preparation of proposals, industry conferences

  • Execute or project leadership expertise for Growth Strategy and Performance improvement projects for Industrial, Manufacturing and Automotive clients

  • Work alongside colleagues to manage end-to-end delivery (including project economics) of consulting projects, ensuring client satisfaction and relevance

  • Provide mentorship and support to consultants ensuring continuous individual development

  • Play a leading role in the growth of our practice through intellectual property and product creation, client development and client project work execution

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Extensive experience from a management consulting background demonstrating knowledge of strategy, operations and technology used in asset-intensive clients to serve their customers and stakeholders  

  •  Significant experience gained either at a leading Industrial, Manufacturing or  Automotive company with a succession of roles showing clear progression in responsibilities

  • Hands on experience managing or delivering corporate or business unit strategy and large business transformations

  • Proven track record of managing and delivering significant business results that reflects strategic and creative thinking, individual initiative and motivating teams

  • Ability to develop and manage strategic client relationships while providing the highest quality client work across multiple client projects

  • Demonstrated capability in thought leadership, new business development and securing project extensions, including client lead maturation, proposal development, and closing new business opportunities

  • Excellent leadership, organizational and verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven leader with extensive abilities to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive teamwork environment, and leverage diverse view

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard      

  • Proven thought leadership with your industry space and a

  • demonstrated aptitude for analytical and conceptual problem solving

  • In-depth knowledge or defined involvement in helping to frame, design and execute solutions for challenging business solutions      

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard

  • Fluent in French and English would be an asset
