Associate Medical Director - Field Medical- Melbourne

Join an interesting and unique pharmaceutical company in an exciting role as the Associate Medical Director - Field Medical. This is a newly created appointment due to growth.

There will be a broad range of duties associated with driving and executing medical affairs activities in ANZ.

This is a small close-knit team, and you will report directly to the Head of Medical Affairs.

This role is a true leadership position where you will manage a team of 4 including 3 medical advisors and an MSL.

You will also work towards building a team of MSLs over the next couple of years.

REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced degree in the life sciences (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD); Clinical experience as a senior physician highly desirable
• Minimum of 5 years' Medical Affairs and Medical compliance experience in Australia
• Previous line management experience highly desirable

• Strong knowledge of the Australian Medicines Code & Australian health care system
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and empathy, track record of building long standing influential KOL relationships
