Job Description:

• Meet with customers and define their needs and requirements.
• Manage design projects from concept development to completion.
• Develop and present project proposals.
• Adjust design and plan to meet customer needs.
• Prepare drawings, plans, specifications and construction documents.
• Conduct research and compile environmental impact and feasibility reports.
• Follow safety standards and local town planning regulations.
• Define and respect budgets and deadlines.
• Manage project teams and collaborate with other construction professionals.
• Control the project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative design and functionality.
• Conduct “briefing” to identify client needs and prepare feasibility reports and design proposals.
• Concept development taking into account customer needs, construction usage and environmental impact.
• Detailed planning and implementation of necessary modifications.
• Compiling project specifications.
• Respect budgets and deadlines.
• Ensure that all work is carried out according to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
• Conduct site visits to verify project progress and report project reports.
• Collaborate and communicate with construction professionals.
• Track architectural trends and advancements.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in architecture or related field.
• Prior experience as an architect is preferred.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, etc.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
• Strong creative and visualization skills.
• Proven work experience as an architect.
• Strong portfolio to demonstrate artistic skills.
• Extensive knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent drafting skills and software proficiency (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar).
• Strong imagination and ability to think and creativity in three dimensions.
• Visual perception and attention to detail.
• Communication and project management skills.
• Bachelor of Architecture.
