What to consider before applying

  • This is a 3 month full-time contract opportunity

  • This role has the option of being based out of our Montreal, Vancouver, London, Edmonton, Winnipeg offices

  • The Canada Acceleration Centre (CAC) services all Canadian time zones, therefore business hours will vary and overtime is required

  • This role doesn’t support completion of the Canadian CPA designation

 

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As an Administrative Specialist, you'll be part of a team that helps deliver high quality, client service excellence and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Initiate and create client records 

  • Assemble client provided information 

  • Reach out to practice staff as required

  • Send electronic copies of finalized tax returns to clients

  • File Canadian and Corporate Tax returns

  • Scanning, mailing and couriering documents to clients and tax authorities

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • A strong grasp of technology, including MS office and Google Suite of products

  • Prior office administration, data entry and/or customer service experience an asset

  • Committed to providing high quality work and maintaining timelines

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate and manage expectations with clients 

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising professional standards or quality of work

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
