The incumbent is r esponsible for the preparation and exe cution of daily food production for the “It’s a W rap” at the Marketplace Food Court and 35 th Market Café in the Residence. The individual is responsible for p reparing meats, vegetables, breads, sauces and cheeses for the above station , as well as , providing excellent counter service to customers while maintaining hygienic facilities and safety standards .

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gathers necessary ingredients for required meal production
• Ensure all equipment needed for the day is clean and powered on for service
• Prepares all food required for daily service
• Work closely with Executive Chef , and Receiver to maintain all established daily par levels
• Lia i se with Main Kitchen production for any feature item ingredients needed
• Slice and prepare all necessary food products. Portion, package and date label with appropriate stickers
• Prepares menu items as ordered by customers and ensures the accurate identification of same according to established standards
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas throughout the shift
• Cleans and sani tizes all work areas on a daily basis and participates in quarterly cleaning as scheduled
• Maintain proper safety and sanitation standards, m aintain a safe work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Secondary School (Grade 12) diploma;
• Minimum 1 year experience in a high volume food service related industry;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task;
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team atmosphere;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure;
• Ability of providing speedy, efficient, courteous and tactful service;
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull.

Anticipated Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
