Based from our Christchurch office, our team coordinate the delivery of bulk fuel to a wide range of customers including Farmlands Shareholders, Challenge Service Stations and commercial and rural customers, right across the country.

We are on the hunt for an energetic Fuel Account Manager. In this role, you're going to get to know our shareholders really well. You'll use your knowledge, together with a bright, positive attitude, and your wide range of customer experience skills to support them, every day.

You will help us reimagine customer experience by placing our customers and shareholders at the heart of every decision.

Our preference is for this role to be based in Christchurch but we would be open a remote working arrangement for the right candidate.

About the role:

  • Deliver unbeatable customer experiences, through predominately telephone calls, servicing fuel customers on a scheduled cycle.
  • Actively manage and maintain all customers less than $50k annual spend in your portfolio including outbound call cycles, compliance issues, pricing checks, high service levels, seasonal frequencies requirements, seasonal sales promotions and other relevant Farmlands offers.
  • Owning fuel escalations end to end by putting our shareholders at the heart of all your decisions and collaborating where needed
  • Actively contributing to new fuel acquisitions, sales targets and KPIs both within your portfolio and nationally. Assisting with the strategic implementation of fuel services into relevant areas of the business including customer growth and retention strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and use data and insights to drive improvements
  • End to end administration management of on-boarding new customers within designated regions, including direct and shareholder customers.
  • Positively contributing to the culture within the Fuel & Energy team and Farmlands.
