FP&A Manager

Location:  Newbury/Home (Full-time remote working during COVID-19)

What will you be doing?  

This is a brand new, exciting and high profile role within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team on two critical areas: Vodafone UK’s Long Range Plan and Cash Planning & Analysis. The role has extensive senior stakeholders, including regular interaction with the CFO, heads of finance & Group regional finance team. The role covers all areas of the business, from Consumer to Enterprise, from mobile to fixed, and therefore allows for excellent financial and strategic knowledge accumulation, widespread networking, and experience of senior management. Success in this role requires a passion for results, excellent communication skills, senior stakeholder management, a relentless attention to detail with the ability to see and understand the big picture.

Key accountabilities include:
 

• Lead the financial aspects of the Long Range Planning for Vodafone UK 
• Direct ownership of managing a rolling Long Range Plan aligned to Vodafone UK’s rolling forecast process, including ongoing allocation of investment (Opex and Capex)
• Cash planning; providing a clear understanding of how EBITDA flows to Cash
• Establish new processes and control to link EBITDA to Cash
• Month-end reporting and robust, clear month-end analysis
• Develop efficient and accurate models to consolidate budget plans 
• Develop UK-level insight & analysis to support forecasts and monthly commentaries
• Risk and opportunity tracking
• The go-to area of FP&A for the view of the Long Range Plan and Cash

Who are we looking for?   

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified.
• Presentation & communication skills - interpreting and explaining complex information to senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
• Strong delivery focus and ability to prioritise across multiple stakeholder demands. 
• Commercial curiosity and ability to translate operational drivers into financial plans
• Member of cross-functional team, creating relationships and interfaces across functions and with customers.
• Build relationships and influenced at senior levels within a business across departments
