Experienced Formwork Carpenter

Whitehouse Construction Services is looking for an experienced Formwork Carpenter to join our high-performing team to support our continued growth. We currently have several projects in the Perth metro area along with more opportunities in the pipeline.

Whitehouse Construction Services is a Perth based commercial construction company specializing in Formwork and Concrete. Clients include Mulitplex, Perkins Builders, Broad Construction, Georgiou Construction, BGC Construction etc.

We are offering positions for immediate start to those who are hardworking, punctual and team-orientated with the potential to further their career in the construction industry. Depending on experience salary $80k min.

Must have formwork carpentry experience of 5 yrs plus and the appropriate industry training in the construction industry, applicants must have a white card.

Job Requirements:

Perform a range of tasks from erecting various types of formwork to stripping it. Covering forming, columns, walls, suspended slabs etc

• Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
• Erecting framework verifying trueness of structures
• Measure, cut and build frames
• Verifying the accuracy of all tasks with the use of levels and surveying equipment

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a carpenter, minimum 5 years
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Good knowledge of English, both verbal and written
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Good physical condition and endurance
• Construction White Card
