This is a busy hands-on role, where you will be a bit of a jack of all trades - Running inwards goods but learning all aspects of the operation along with the rollout of a new CRM system! Working as a part of a tight knit team, everyone works hard, has fun and helps each other out! My client is a long-standing and well known manufacturer within the engineering industry and offers not only stability but for the right candidate on going career progression.

Your new role:Reporting to a down to earth, hands-on, lead from the front warehouse manager (who progressed through the business himself!) You will:

• Inwards goods
• Devanning where required
• Pallet Wrapping & Distribution
• Managing stock integrity & bay allocations
• Assist any customers that come to site
• Ensure correct stock is Received / Receipted
• Forklift operation & reach if you have it
• Maintain inwards area, bulk stock storage
• Carry out inspection of goods received - checking for damage to, quantity of and quality of items received
• Assist with stock takes & cyclic counting
• Running stock / backorder reports for Warehouse Manager
• Order stock and liaise with suppliers when required

You will be a candidate hungry for success, who wants to work as a part of a happy and proactive team (People don't leave this company! They have a VERY low staff turnover)

About You:

• Current NZ Forklift license
• At least 3 years forklift & warehousing experience
• Be reliable and consistent
• Have a GOOD sense of humour & team spirit
• Be able to take instructions & think on your feet
• You will want ongoing training & career progression
• You will be physically fit & able
