The Role:

• Safety start-up audits daily as required to ensure the warehouse racking, inventory and fork hoist equipment are meeting the required safety standards.
• Properly store raw materials, follow “First In First Out” protocol and maintain reefer logs to ensure raw materials are used before their expiry dates and are not temperature abused.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices within the Yard and Warehouse.
• Store Raw materials and consumables in their designated locations and ensure that the yard is cleaned daily
• Issue all raw materials required for the next 2 shifts of production into the inbound area before the end of the shift
• Perform basic math calculations to determine how much raw materials need to be present on the floor to avoid production downtime.
• Document deliveries and store in the correct locations
• Perform accurate stock counts in a timely manner when scheduled

 Skills and attributes:

• Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment

• Reliable with a track record of good attendance

• Detail orientated with the ability to record data accurately

• Experience working in chillers

• Hard working and physically fit - can lift up to 20kg

• Follows safety protocol and is able to remain calm in high pressure situations

• A current forklift Licence
