We have a fantastic opportunity for a Foreperson to join our Civil Northern team.

The role is responsible for general operational areas of work across a wide range of civil projects including day-to-day responsibility for safety, quality and environmental compliance for a range of projects including water infrastructure, roading/pavements, public open spaces and general civil infrastructure with a focus on landscapes.

The role:

• Day to day Supervision of construction projects and site crew.
• Ensure production targets are met.
• Supervising sub-contractors and staff on site
• Ensuring the site complies with the Health and Safety Act and are safe
• Complying with the HEB Precast quality assurance system.
• General Works
• Machine operations and checks (that are trained/competent to use)
• Environmental care
• Security of work site and machinery
• Participating and Presenting weekly Toolbox meetings.
• Reporting of incidents and completing paperwork
• Recording daily activities, problems, delays and staffing issues in script.

About you:

• Good knowledge of landscape construction
• 10 + years in civil construction
• Trade qualification Preferred
• Practical experience in the infrastructure industry
• Current Class 1 driver's licence and W,T & R Preferred
• Ability to speak up if something isn't right
• Ability to plan ahead
• Ability to read and write competently in English
• Positive attitude
• Team player and good team building skills
• Physically fit and well - required to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug screen
