About the opportunity
You will be responsible for order taking, meal assembly, meal preparation and distribution of patient meals, recording intake, dishwashing and other associated cleaning duties. You'll need to work well in a collaborative environment and show initiative as you serve NSW Health hospital patients to ensure an optimal service. to find out more.
There are multiple Part Time Permanent positions graded as a Hospital Assistant Grade 3 with an hourly rate of $26.06 per hour. Location, Port Macquarie.

Vaccination Requirements
This is a NSW Health Category A position, which requires immunisation against the following:
Whooping Cough
Hepatitis B
Measles / Mumps / Rubella
Chicken Pox
Screening for Tuberculosis
COVID-19
If you have any current evidence of vaccination against these, upload them with your application. Your current vaccination status will not impact your application. If you are the preferred candidate, you will be responsible for covering the costs of any remaining vaccination requirements. For more information read the .
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.
If you are the preferred candidate, you will also need to complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment, with costs covered by HealthShare NSW.
