We’re looking for a florist to join the The Flori! 

We are a Flower and Gift Shop in Ponsonby road, Auckland. We are new flowers shop open 7days a week. As well as in-store and online orders, we also do a large number of online ordering. 

The role is full-time position but those wanting parttime (20+ hours) will be considered, however usually involves working both Saturdays and Sundays, and must be available for wedding season, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day.

Applicants MUST have some retail floristry experience. The position will be sole charge at times. You must have a passion for flowers and an excellent aesthetic and work ethic. 

The successful applicant will receive on the job training as needed.

You will enjoy a varied working day consisting of:

• Processing flowers and foliage and displaying products
• Answering phone calls and serving customers in the shop
• Making floral arrangements – bouquets, posies, vase arrangements, wedding arches and installations, corsages, table decorations etc.
• Processing online orders and payments
• Cleaning, set up, and pack down of shop
• We have occasionally delivering flowers and arrangements
